I went with my Mom to the "Relay for Life" event at Coral Springs High, honoring cancer survivors. It was rewarding, because I got to support my Mom for her accomplishment; and it was also delicious, because they served us a dinner catered by Outback Steakhouse. I had medium rare steak, barbecued chicken breast, dinner rolls with butter, Asian salad with crunchy fried noodles, onion souffle, mushroom gravy, steamed string beans, and a slice of cheesecake.
As a survivor, my Mom got to wear a white sash. And since I took care of her, I got to wear a purple sash. Haha.
(Disclaimer: they did not actually serve bloomin' onions.)
