I cooked pancakes for my sister and I.
My pancakes never come out too great -- they're usually oblong-shaped, usually too thick and cakey in the middle. But these were alright; not perfect, but definitely better than normal.
I really need to invest in one of those wide, flat electric griddles. It'll give me more room to cook more pancakes at the same time, which means the stacks will stay warmer, longer. And I'll be able to consistently regulate the surface temperature, cutting down on burning and hot spots. I'm betting a griddle would directly cause the quality of my homemade pancakes to rise exponentially.
